Description

I purchased this for my kindergarten classroom. The cover can't be put in the dryer, and the zippers on it are flimsy. They sit on it together and just look so happy and comfortable. Excellent quality and value for the money ! The cover dried and now is more or less in the same condition as before. They really, really love it. There is no way to improve the seating (not enough room in the cover to add stuffing without splitting the zipper (tried it). I have replaced the couch with a bean bag which she loves and even I can sit in it! This one sits in her study/craft room and is full of stuffed toys. We've loved it so much we'll be sad to see it go! Our 30lb dog even took to sleeping on it for awhile and the chair is no worse for the wear. This is one of the best purchases ever made for our kids - a good value on a quality item worth every penny and more. I got this toddler sized sofa to put in the family room for my almost-3-year-old and 15 month old. The email went on to say that many customers reported that after re-washing you can fit the cushions back inside while the cover is still damp and the customer service person suggested that I try that before ordering a new cover. We did put different fabric on the chair soon after buying it (grandma made a replacement zip-off slipcover from IKEA fabric using the original zip-off cover as a pattern), but we stuff it with the same foam and the foam has lasted all this time, too. The padding in the chair is substandard, the wood frame is great. When it came out it had shrunk and the cushions no longer fit inside. At that point I read the care instructions and realized it says to line dry. :) Sometimes adults have sat in it with the kids and it is sturdy enough to handle that. I love the couch. The directions were lacking many details. At that point I read the care instructions and realized it says to line dry. I was VERY annoyed. I also think $20 is pretty reasonable for replacing the cover if it ever comes to that. This one sits in her study/craft room and is full of stuffed toys. They love it so much that they always want to bring their snacks up on it and as a result the cover for the cushions (which are foam btw, i didn't realize this when i bought it and was slightly disappointed) gets dirty very quickly.
